Privacy Policy
Waitlist / Pre-Launch · Last updated: 17th June 2026
1. About this Policy and who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Aratuza Private Limited ("Aratuza", "we", "us", "our"), the company behind Artino, collects and processes your personal data when you visit our pre-launch website at https://www.artino.in (the "Site") and join our waitlist.
For the purposes of this Policy, Aratuza is the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). We process personal data in accordance with the DPDP Act and the rules made under it, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and other applicable Indian law.
This Policy applies only to the pre-launch waitlist Site. The Artino app and marketplace are not yet live. When we launch, a separate, more detailed privacy policy will govern the full platform.
2. The personal data we collect
Information you give us when you join the waitlist:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your user type (Artist / Event Organiser / Both / Art lover)
- Your city and state
We do not collect payment information, identity documents, or any sensitive data at this stage, because no transactions take place on the waitlist Site.
3. Why we use your personal data, and our legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form (and, where applicable, by ticking the consent box). We use it only for these specified purposes:
- To register and manage your place on the Artino waitlist;
- To notify you when Artino launches and to offer you early access;
- To send you product updates, announcements, and related communications that you have consented to receive;
- To understand demand across user types and locations so we can plan our launch;
- To respond to your queries and requests; and
- To comply with applicable law.
We will not use your personal data for any other purpose without obtaining your consent or unless permitted by law.
4. Consent and how to withdraw it
Your consent is voluntary. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so will be as easy as it was to give it. To withdraw consent, email support@aratuza.com or click the "unsubscribe" link in any email we send you. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Once you withdraw consent, we will stop the relevant processing and erase your personal data unless we are required by law to retain it.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and, with your consent, for analytics.
6. Who we share your personal data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers (Data Processors) who help us run the waitlist on our behalf — for example, our website hosting, email/newsletter, and analytics providers — under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for our specified purposes;
- Authorities or other parties where we are required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or a government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property; and
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or reorganisation, subject to this Policy.
7. Storage and international transfers
Our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, we do so in accordance with the DPDP Act and applicable law. By using the Site, you understand that such transfers may occur for the purposes described above.
8. How long we keep your data
We retain your waitlist data only for as long as needed for the purposes above — broadly, until the launch of Artino and for a reasonable period afterwards to onboard you, or until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it. After that, we erase it unless retention is required by law.
9. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. In the event of a personal data breach, we will act in accordance with the notification requirements under the DPDP Act and applicable law.
10. Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we process about you and how we process it;
- Correct, complete, or update your personal data;
- Erase your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements;
- Withdraw consent at any time (see Section 4);
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and
- Grievance redressal — to have your complaints addressed by us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@aratuza.com. We will respond within the timelines required by law.
11. Children
The waitlist Site is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children (individuals under 18) through the waitlist. If you are under 18 and wish to be informed about Artino, please ask a parent or legal guardian to join on your behalf, or contact us at support@aratuza.com.
12. Grievances and how to complain
If you have any concern or complaint about how we handle your personal data, please contact our designated Grievance Officer:
